Working Principle
Preload Locking
By tightening the nut with a wrench, axial tensile force (preload) is generated on the bolt. This force firmly presses the pallet, flange, or bracket against the frame column, and the friction between contact surfaces resists shear forces and vibrations during transportation.
Anti-Corrosion Protection
The galvanized coating on the nut forms a sacrificial anode layer. Even if the surface is slightly scratched, the zinc layer oxidizes first, protecting the internal steel from rust and preventing seizure that would make disassembly difficult.
